What is microneedling
Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-channels in the skin using fine, sterile needles. These micro-injuries are superficial and are designed to activate the skin's natural repair mechanisms.
As part of the normal healing response, the skin may increase the production of collagen and other supportive structures over time.
This process can contribute to gradual improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall skin quality.
The micro-channels created during treatment may also temporarily enhance the skin's ability to absorb topical products applied immediately after the procedure.
Benefits of Microneedling
Supports natural collagen production
Encourages the skin's own repair processes, which may help improve overall skin structure over time.
Improves skin texture and tone
Can assist in smoothing uneven texture and enhancing skin clarity.
Enhances skin renewal
Promotes gradual skin regeneration, contributing to a healthier-looking complexion.
May improve the appearance of pigmentation concerns
Can help reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation when used as part of a structured treatment plan.
Minimally invasive with limited downtime
A non-surgical procedure with relatively short recovery compared to more invasive treatments.
Customisable treatment
Needle depth and treatment intensity can be tailored to individual skin type, concern, and treatment area.
Can be combined with adjunct therapies
Often used alongside treatments such as PRP to support skin recovery and optimisation of results.
Suitable for various treatment areas
Commonly performed on the face and scalp, depending on individual suitability.
Program
Advanced Skin Renewal Program
The Microneedling + Exosome Program is a premium skin conditioning program that combines microneedling with the topical application of an exosome-based cosmeceutical serum. Exosomes serve to bolster tissue regeneration, accelerate healing processes, and enhance the overall texture and appearance of the skin.
Collagen Support Program
The Microneedling + Collagen Support Program combines controlled microneedling with a collagen-supporting topical serum.
This program focuses on improving the appearance of skin texture and supporting a firmer-looking complexion. It is suitable for clients looking to enhance overall skin conditioning and maintain healthy-looking skin.
Hydration Boost Program
The Microneedling + Hydration program combines microneedling with the topical application of a hydration-focused ampoule.
The micro-channels created during microneedling may assist in creating an optimal environment for even distribution of hydrating skincare ingredients. This program is designed to support skin moisture balance and overall skin comfort.
Procedure
Consultation & Skin Assessment
A personalised consultation is conducted to assess skin condition, hydration needs, and suitability for microneedling treatment.
Skin Preparation
The treatment area is cleansed thoroughly, and appropriate infection-control measures are followed. A topical numbing agent may be applied where clinically appropriate.
Microneedling Treatment
A medical-grade microneedling device is used to create controlled micro-channels in the skin at depths tailored to the treatment area and individual skin type.
Hydration-Focused Application
Immediately following microneedling, hydration-supporting products are applied to the skin to assist with moisture balance and skin comfort.
Soothing & Post-Treatment Care
The skin is soothed, and personalised aftercare instructions are provided to support recovery and maintain hydration.
What is PRP Therapy?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a procedure that uses components derived from the patient's own blood and is commonly offered in medical and aesthetic settings.
A small blood sample is processed using a specialised centrifuge system to separate platelet-rich plasma, which is then applied or administered to selected areas of the skin or scalp as part of a clinical procedure.
Benefits of PRP Therapy
Blood Collection
A small amount of blood is collected as part of the procedure.
Centrifugation
The blood sample is processed using a specialised centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma from other blood components.
Preparation
The platelet-rich plasma is prepared in a controlled clinical environment.
Application or Administration
The PRP is applied or administered to selected areas of the skin or scalp, based on individual assessment and clinical indication.
Program
PRP for Skin
PRP procedures for the skin are designed to support overall skin quality and vitality.
They may be used as part of a broader aesthetic or skin management plan, following a clinical assessment.
PRP for Scalp
PRP scalp procedures are offered to support scalp health and may assist in optimising the scalp environment.
These procedures are performed as part of a medical consultation and are not a substitute for medical treatment of hair loss conditions.
Procedure
PRP procedure
PRP contains naturally occurring platelets that release growth factors.
These growth factors are involved in normal tissue processes
and are used in PRP procedures to support the body's natural regenerative response.
Individual outcomes may vary, and PRP is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
ⓘ Regulatory Note
PRP procedures are performed following a consultation to assess suitability.
